Daryl Dixon has had a tough time, to say the least. After watching two of his best friends die brutal deaths, he was then tossed into a jail cell where he was tortured and had to dwell on the fact he may be partially responsible for Glenn’s death.

In “The Other Side,” Daryl can no longer avoid Maggie and she finally confronts him about not speaking with her. In the end, he reveals that he feels responsible for Glenn’s death and he hates himself for it.

Maggie quickly forgives him and reminds him that he’s a good person.

She wouldn’t necessarily have been as charitable. But she’s changed and grown up. And on top of that, she really is becoming a leader. It’s an incredibly mature moment.”
