Morgan Days Are Numbered On TWD

In the comic book, Morgan died a long time ago. After overcoming the loss of his son and mastering Aikido, it seemed like he was going to be okay. Then, Richard got Benjamin killed, and everything unraveled again.

Now, he is a bit of a loose cannon again. His peaceful staff is now a spear, and he’s almost entirely back to the “clear” mindset. He’s left the Kingdom and done so for the wrong reasons.

This state of mind puts Morgan in jeopardy in more than one way.

In a sense, with “All Out War” approaching, everyone is in danger. However, because Morgan is back to his loner mindset, he’s at more risk than everyone else. He’s not thinking clearly, and that could get him killed in the war.

Beyond the war, his reasoning is no longer sound. In fact, based on the SDCC trailer, it looks like he even picks a fight with Jesus. At first, we assume Morgan is in the right, but given his mental state, he could be in the wrong.

Whatever Jesus did, it could mean Morgan flying off the handle.

Bordering The Edge Of Insanity

Our hero is entering Season 8 teetering on the edge of insanity. Because of this wrongful mental state, he’ll likely go against the good of the group. If that happens, he could experience fire from either side.

Generally speaking, he has usually been there for Rick Grimes. However, we’ll likely see a slight role reversal in this next season. When the peaceful warrior arrived in Alexandria, he watched Rick executed Peter for Deanna.

Now, he is the one who appears to be insane. The cast of the show has promised there will be significant deaths and we believe Morgan will be a casualty this season. At this point, he’s crossed over the lines of insanity one too many times.

More than likely, he will do something to get himself killed this season.

Do you think Morgan will survive Season 8 of The Walking Dead?
