All Of Raj’s Ex-Girlfriends Together
photo by pinterest.com In an exclusive first look at the new TBBT episode airing on February 2nd, EW.com has reported that all of Raj’s ex-girlfriends will be called to his apartment at once. So who are these ladies and why did they all agree to come together?
It’s A Focus Group

EW.com reports that this meeting is a “focus group” and that Raj wants all of the women to explain to him how he failed them in relationships. Perhaps Raj is feeling left behind now that Bernadette, Howard, and Halley are a tiny new family. We have to admit this is a big step for Raj; considering he couldn’t even speak to women when the show first started, holding a focus group with all of his exes at once is pretty monumental. But who are these women and what can we expect them to talk about?

Emily Sweeney

Emily is one of Raj’s most serious girlfriends. As TBBT fans will remember, she and Raj ended their relationship because of Claire. Emily’s advice for Raj will probably be to not have a wandering eye. She also might mention his crazy friends; Sheldon upset her greatly while he was sick, and Howard has his own history of a blind-date-gone-wrong with her.
Claire

Claire is partially the reason that Emily and Raj broke up. She’s a screenwriter he meets at the comic book store. Initially, Raj and Claire try to be just friends, but it becomes clear that they share a “vibe.” Once again Raj and Claire’s relationship ends because of Emily. Raj can’t seem to keep only one woman at a time.
Lucy

Lucy meets Raj at the Valentines party for singles. She is a people-pleaser and sometimes doesn’t know how to say no. Lucy was a great match for Raj in the beginning of his dating because she shared his social anxieties. She even ran out on their first date out of nervousness. Fun Fact about Lucy- she designs porn websites. Lucy ended the relationship when Raj started seeing Emily. Raj assumed Lucy would be just as okay with the situation as Emily, but that wasn’t the case.
Just Emily

Yes, there were two. Just Emily, not Emily Sweeney, dated Raj back when he was still suffering from selective mutism. She is a mutual friend of Penny’s and is deaf. Howard is fluent in sign language, and would interpret Raj and Emily’s conversations. Just Emily is probably the worst of Raj’s gilfriends; she was only dating him because he was gifting her expensive things. When he is cut off by his parents, she breaks up with him. We’d have to say this one wasn’t Raj’s fault, although perhaps he was a bit to naive.

Aside from the gold-digging Just-Emily, Raj has a theme of losing girlfriends by being easily distracted by other women. We can bet these ladies will tell him he needs to not have a wandering eye, and stick with the one he’s got. Raj seems to suffer from a bit of “FOMO” (Fear of missing out.) As soon as he’s got one great girlfriend he’ll meet someone else and wonder if he’s missing out. That’s not going to make any relationships stick, and certainly doesn’t make the women feel good.
