“I Can’t Skype It To You”
In The Gyroscopic Collapse Amy is offered a position at Princeton University that she can’t turn down. After some soul-searching, Sheldon realizes he should be a good boyfriend, and even offers lovemaking in support.
In this hilarious scene from The Gyroscopic Collapse, Sheldon supports Amy’s decision to spend the summer in New Jersey and brings the heat, with a string of hilarious one-liners.
When offering going-away-coitus, Sheldon said, “Just to be clear, I’m not being intimate with you in order to keep you from going.” The sentiment was sweet, but in true Sheldon fashion he took the concept one step further. Sheldon said, “I’m just warning you, if you find yourself 3000 miles away and craving a hit of this, I can’t skype it to you!”

Sheldon was egged on by Leonard to be supportive of Amy’s choice, and he even bought her luggage as a kind gesture. Of course, he couldn’t help but be dark when he said, “The salesperson said it could withstand a plane crash so……Perhaps you should fly inside it.”
Sheldon also made one more hilarious joke, poking fun at many north-eastern Big Bang Theory fans. He said, “Besides, Princeton is in New Jersey…It’s not like you’re going to want to stay.”
Will Sheldon Propose
Sheldon certainly is being generous about Amy leaving, and is showing some serious emotion about her travels. He even offered up coitus on a day other than her birthday. Perhaps Sheldon is ready to take the next step in the SHAmy relationship.
The Big Bang Theory cast recently hinted that there will be a “shocking” cliff hanger at the end of The Big Bang Theory Season 10 finale, and we’re pretty sure it’s a Sheldon proposal. Kunal Nayyar said, “It’s wonderful, it’s been a long time coming.” All 6 other cast members shared their same excitement and shock.
