Stewart’s Eviction Notice

Back in Season 10, Howard and Bernadette had their pick from two very eager babysitters. The episode began with Stewart stopping by to drop off a child-like book of coupons as a gift for the happy couple.
Then, they soon found out that one of the coupons was written on the back of an eviction notice. Poor Stewart had been kicked out of his apartment and didn’t have anywhere else to go.
Based on the work he did with Howard’s mother, he felt like he might be the perfect fit to help with the new baby.
Raj Upset To Be Overlooked

When Raj came over with a bag of take-out, he was surprised to find Stewart greeting guests at the door. Obviously, Raj was a little hurt seeing as he had been the one helping out with the pregnancy.
As the episode went on, it was clear that both were competing for their roles in the Holowitz home. Stewart was better at painting Bernadette’s toenails while Raj was better at driving Howard to the store.
Both worked on a few toys and gifts for the baby.
When The Tough Gets Going…

In the end, it was clear that when the tough got going, both could actually be there to help out. In the final moments of the episode, Bernadette needed to be rushed to the hospital and after a celebratory chest bump, the duo got everyone in gear to head out.
In the beginning, it seemed like Stewart’s role was merely mutually beneficial as he really just needed a place to stay and would do anything to get it. Raj, on the other hand, was showing up to see and care for his friends.
Later though, it was clear both care a great deal for the couple.
