The thing that makes Phil Robertson so captivating is that he’s genuine. He’s real. Nothing he does is for show, not even going into the woods.
In The Woods With Phil Robertson
Phil Robertson premiered a new series earlier this winter called In The Woods With Phil. The show airs on the Conservative Review Television online streaming service. For 10 dollars a month customers get access to Robertson’s and others’ shows. In The Woods With Phil features Phil literally in the woods, talking about anything that comes to his mind. But he wants to make one thing clear- he’s been there all along.
Phil going into the woods to do his best thinking, his best talking, and his best teaching, is nothing new. Phil’s been doing that for as long as he can remember. He told Fox News, “I’ve been in the woods my 71 years on the earth.” And indeed he has. Phil has taught his four sons, and his entire extended family how to live and love off the land.
Phil’s new show aims to say it like it is, and not be politically correct. Phil said, “For far too long we have been told to shut up. No more. Here’s the deal America. These are my woods. Out here, I call the shots. Out here, we reject political correctness, or as I like to say, ‘pontificated crap.'”
The Rest Of The Family Is Tired
As for the rest of the Duck Dynasty family? They aren’t looking to return back to television anytime soon. Sadie Robertson explained that her family is enjoying their time off. She said, “We are totally on break. My little siblings are growing up, and my parents just wanted to be parents, and raise them up in a normal way, and try to get that normal capacity back. For me, I moved to Nashville. We’re all around right now, doing our thing.”
Phil Robertson is excited to be speaking his mind, and appearing on TV on his own terms. Have you been watching his new series, In The Woods With Phil?
