Rick’s War Begins In October
The Walking Dead | Photo Credit AMC Season 7 literally just ended, but fans are dying to know what happens in Season 8 of The Walking Dead. Obviously, Rick’s War with Negan is about to begin, but how and when will it go down?
Norman Reedus just shared a photo that read “Ready to get back at it!” which shows Daryl and Rick (Andrew Lincoln) hanging out on set. Based on the clothing and blood on Rick’s cheek, however, this appears to be an old photo from Season 7.
In the mean time, there’s lots of Walking Dead news and extras to get caught up on.

First of all, the Season 8 trailer will be premiering at Comic Con in San Diego in July, just like it has for the past few years. That trailer will likely either leak online or will be distributed shortly after the big reveal.
In addition, there are already some awesome behind-the-scenes photos and interviews over at AMC’s website, plus there’s mention of extra scenes with Shiva the tiger that will be on the DVD, but not on AMC or Netflix.
Scott M. Gimple even teased a few scenes no one has seen yet.
Bonus Scene With Michonne, Rick, Carl…

In terms of the deleted scenes, the showruner told Digital Spy, “There is a lovey scene with Rick and Carl and Michonne and I’m hoping I put it in the deleted scenes,” which will be on the DVD and Blu-Ray editions.
There was an entire episode related to Michonne and Rick’s newfound relationship, but we didn’t see too much of Carl this season. It’s possible the actor was off attending school, but there’s a chance this was a scene cut from the finale.
At the very end of the episode, after Maggie and Ezekiel arrived to fight off the Heapsters and the Saviors, Rick goes looking for Michonne’s body. When he arrives, he realizes she actually won the fight.
Upstairs, in the house she was using for lookout, she’s beat-up pretty badly, but its obvious Rick and Carl are thrilled to see her breathing. There could be an extended version of that scene between the new family.
