When you think about The Walking Dead, hysterical laughter is probably the last thing on your mind. Sure, there’s been the occasional funny line here and there; Abraham was full of great quips, Eugene is generally good for a giggle, and even Father Gabriel got a good couple of laughs this season. Still, if there’s one character guaranteed to make you smile, it’s Negan.
Negan may be a nasty horrible person (let’s not forget he bashed Glenn and Abraham’s heads in with his baseball bat), but he’s had some of the most hilarious dialogue the show has even seen. So how do you make Negan’s one-liners and hot takes even funnier? You add a 1980s-style sitcom laugh track, of course.
YouTube user The Mocking Dead has put together some of Negan’s best lines and re-edited the whole thing into a sitcom, complete with that trademark laugh track. It’s called Oh Negan! and it features Daryl’s favorite song, “Easy Street,” during the opening credits.
