Fallen Kingdom Set For 2018 Release

Variety writes:

“Jeff Goldblum — who appeared in 1993’s “Jurassic Park” and in 1997’s “The Lost World: Jurassic Park” — joins the sequel. The rest of the cast includes B. D. Wong, Toby Jones, Rafe Spall, Justice Smith, Daniella Pineda, Ted Levine, Geraldine Chaplin, and James Cromwell. Bayona shared a first-look photo of “Fallen Kingdom” in March.”

“The image shows a mysterious young girl in a natural history museum with her back turned to the camera. “Jurassic World” grossed $1.67 billion worldwide, the fourth-highest-earning movie in history. Vice president of production Sara Scott is overseeing production for the sequel on behalf of the studio. “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” is scheduled to hit theaters in exactly one year on June 22, 2018.”

Jeff Goldblum Returns For Jurassic World Sequel

Gizmodo writes:

“It’s no surprise that from the get go, the movie wants you to be well aware that Goldblum is back in his iconic role for the first time since 1997’s The Lost World: Jurassic Park. I mean, after all, if you get Goldblum back, you flaunt his Goldblumminess at every available goddamn opportunity. Get him out there saying the lines and doing the things he needs to do (which are mainly “be Jeff Goldblum”) between now and this time next year, and that’s pretty much the marketing sorted.”
