As a celebration of the 50th anniversary of The Beatles hit album, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, they’re reissuing the record.
May 26 is the magic day — the day the reissue packages arrive. What will this re-release of Sgt. Pepper include?
First, it’ll have a new stereo mix of the album available on CD. An expanded edition will include a digital version, a two-CD set or a two-LP vinyl deal.
The deluxe editions of the record will have never before released complete takes of all 13 tracks. Some versions will include stereo mixes of only an unreleased instrumental take of “Penny Lane” and two unreleased takes of “Strawberry Fields Forever.”
