Kim Jong Un Demands “Justice…”

These new U.N. sanctions will likely cut North Korea’s $3 billion annual export revenue by around 30 percent. In response to these actions, the state-controlled media said they will take “action of justice” but didn’t clarify their attack.

This came after Trump and South Korean President Moon Jae-in both agreed to apply as much pressure and as many sanctions as possible on North Korea in an effort to reduce Kim’s power.

The Sun reports:

“The U.N. Security Council unanimously imposed new sanctions on North Korea on Saturday aimed at pressuring Pyongyang to end its nuclear programme. The U.S.-drafted resolution bans North Korean exports of coal, iron, iron ore, lead, lead ore and seafood following Pyongyang’s two intercontinental ballistic missile tests in July.”

“It also prohibits countries from increasing the current numbers of North Korean laborers working abroad, bans new joint ventures with North Korea and any new investment in current joint ventures.”

CNN reports:

“The measures aim to make it harder for North Korea to make money across the globe. They target North Korea’s primary exports — including coal, iron and seafood — and attempt to cut off its additional revenue streams by targeting some of its banks and joint ventures with foreign companies.”

“Our continued intercontinental ballistic missile tests were stern warnings to the US, who is doing reckless military adventure and dirty sanctions against us while sitting on the other side of the pacific,” KCNA said.

“There is no bigger mistake than the United States believing that its land is safe across the ocean,” the KCNA report added.”
