FBI Director Agrees To Testify
Trump, Comey | Photo Credit Chicago Tribune Fired FBI Director James Comey has agreed to testify after the Memorial Day holiday. Some say that Comey is breaking his silence, while others believe he’s never been silent, based on the fact that he has been leaking information.
In addition, while he had a solid career as the FBI Director, when things got tough, he seemed to care more about his reputation than America, which is not what someone in that sort of position can do.
At the end of his career, he allowed for memos to leak and encouraged his friends in high places to talk to the press.
Harvard Professor Believes Comey Needs Cross-Examination
Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz reveals:
Comey “has never been silent. He’s been leaking information, using his friends to get his point out [and] it’s cowardly. I think it’s about time that Comey is confronted directly with cross-examination.”
“He was a great director of the FBI but when the whole Hillary Clinton thing began, he cared more about his reputation and his dignity than about what was good for America.”
Dershowitz believes Comey should be forced to answer questions from those on both sides of the aisle. Dershowitz also said he would want to know if Comey was the source of the leaks.
Comey Will Speak To Senate Intelligence Committee

Washington Post reports:
“Former FBI director James B. Comey will testify publicly before the Senate Intelligence Committee at a date to be set after Memorial Day, committee leaders announced Friday night.”
“The public commitment to testify comes after a tumultuous week and a half since President Trump dismissed Comey — a move that perplexed committee Chairman Richard Burr (R-N.C.) and Vice Chairman Mark R. Warner (D-Va.), who vowed to bring Comey before the committee nonetheless to testify as part of their probe into alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 elections, including potential ties between the Trump campaign and Kremlin officials.”
