Walking Dead Star’s Son Enjoys Poolside

Mingus, the son of Walking Dead star Norman Reedus and supermodel Helena Christensen relaxes in the pool in this new Instagram post. Like his dad, the kid seems to enjoy posting on social media.
In many ways, young Mingus looks a lot like his father at a young age. The teen holds the family dog Kuma in this rare photo. The 17-year-old has the same glare as his father, who also used to model for Gucci.
Reedus and Norman were together for fives years between 1998 and 2003.

“The teen can be seen holding onto the family dog Kuma as he enjoys an afternoon in a pool with his famous mum. The 17-year-old’s dark locks are scraped back into a wet look while he flashes a small grin at the camera as he cradles the adorable pooch.”
“Helena, 48, and Norman, 48, were in a five year relationship between 1998 and 2003, and welcomed Mingus in 1999. While the couple have both enjoyed a career in the spotlight, it seems that their offspring has other ideas. In 2015, Norman revealed that his son had received several calls asking him to audition for film roles but he always rejected them. “We got this call because they are going to make a new ‘Spider-Man,’ and he’s like 14 or 15,” he told the Philippine Daily Inquirer.”
Mingus Reedus Never Wanted To Act

The young Mingus decided early on that he never wanted to be an actor. When asked to audition for Spider-Man, Mingue told his father he didn’t want to “ruin his life” or “become famous.”
At an early age, Mingus looked more like his mother, Helena Christensen, but as he gets older, he seems to look more like his father, Norman Reedus. The boy’s full name is Mingus Lucien Reedus.
