Stars With Other Roles To Consider

As The Walking Dead continues to get more and more popular, the actors on the show are getting other major offers, which means they may not be on every episode of the series.
It could also mean that some characters will be killed off, like when Sonequa Martin-Green got her role on Star Trek: Discovery or, to a point, where Corey Hawkins landed a role on 24: Legacy and Heath disappeared from the show.
Now, three other stars face similar threats on The Walking Dead.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s New Role(s)

Jeffrey Dean Morgan not only has a few major roles coming up, like in Rampage alongside The Rock, but he’s also been reported as not being on set for many of the initial first days of filming.
Does this mean that Negan isn’t going to be around for the first few episodes of Season 8? It’s certainly possible that after he watched Shiva the tiger eat a few of his minions that he might be hiding out.
Negan will likely be in the premiere, but perhaps only for a scene or two.
Michonne, Rosita May Be Missing Season 8

Two other stars that might not be in every single episode include Rosita-star Christian Serratos and Michonne-star Danai Gurira. Both have a few other things going on besides the show.
Christian Serratos just had a baby girl and it’s possible that she may not have been around for the first or second weeks of filming due to recovery. Alanna Masterson had a baby last year, which is why we didn’t see much of Tara in Season 7.
Michonne’s Danai Gurira is set to star in Black Panther, which has likely wrapped filming, but with that roe, she’ll also be in the new Marvel film, Avengers: Infinity War, which is currently filming.
