In a previous article, I wrote that the latest Big Bang Theory episode, “The Fetal Kick Catalyst,” will be airing on Monday (10/24). This information is incorrect as the Big Bang Theory is moving to its normal time period on Thursday, October 27th. Now onto the spoilers for the episode!

A Brief Synopsis

Penny is surprised to learn she has fans of her performance in “Serial Ape-ist” when she attends Van Nuys Comic Con with Leonard. Also, Amy hosts a Sheldon-style brunch at Penny’s apartment, and Wolowitz makes an impulsive purchase when he starts stressing out about the baby on the way.

That’s all I’m giving you guys. We don’t want to know too much, right? But Steve Molaro did make a xomment about Sheldon and Amy’s current co-existing:

“We are open to anything. That’s what’s fun about the experiment,” he said. “They could stay together, they could try going back to the way it was, they could end up anywhere. It’s exciting.” Molaro added that Sheldon and Amy’s new living arrangement “also functions as a creative experiment” that lets the creators and writers explore more angles in the characters’ unique relationship.

In the recently-released promo from CBS, the show announced its move to Thursday night airing. For the uninitiated, the switching of time slots happens every year due to the Thursday night football schedule. Once the game is over, CBS moves “The Big Bang Theory” into that Thursday night time slot. “The Fetal Kick Catalyst” is slated to be the first episode to air in the said time slot starting on Oct. 27 (http://christiantimes.com)

Future episodes will highlight Sheldon and Amy’s temporary cohabitation or five-week experiment in Penny’s apartment. It was fun seeing Amy standing up to Sheldon after the first night of their cohabitation — a feat that Leonard can’t really accomplish in the past. This raised questions about whether Amy is the one person who can finally tame Sheldon’s frustrating quirks (http://www.parentherald.com/).

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, “The Big Bang Theory” showrunner Steve Molaro said that Amy doesn’t necessarily want to “tame” Sheldon because those quirks are a huge part of his identity and she loves him for it. Molaro said that Amy would probably “settle for just helping him rein them in from time to time,” adding that she is “good at knowing when to pick her battles.”

It’s no surprise that all the Shamy fans out there are rooting for Sheldon and Amy to make it. But I don’t think I see another break up in their future. I think they are pretty solid, as of right now. We’ll just have to see what happens.

I’m also really interested to see how Howard takes on fatherhood. Since, he used to be the guy that you would probably keep your kids away from. So, I’m really looking forward to the next episode.

Another reason is because I want to see Penny take part in a con. I think that should be really funny. Are you guys excited about the next episode? Tell us in the comments below.
