Immediate Action Required, The Robertson Family Needs Your Help! (Duck Dynasty has been canceled.)
What is going on? Are the rumors true? Apparently, someone or some people are making a very bad decision about our favorite family and the brilliant show Duck Dynasty.
Our favorite Christian family that has been bringing us joy and good old fashioned American ethics for almost a decade now and for some dumb reason, unbeknownst to me, they’re canceling the show. After all the hard work, the love and giving the people at A&E are throwing in the towel.
Why is this bad decision being made you ask?
Here’s what they said, then I’ll tell you what I think. Let’s see if you agree. According to the network, it’s strictly based on numbers. Even though the show has brought in millions in profit every year, they’re still calling it quits. The show peaked with a staggering 11.7 million viewers. Unfortunately for Si and Phil, season 10 of Duck Dynasty only brought in a low 1.3 million views.
It’s been in a decline. If you ask me, this is no reason to cancel our favorite show… This is a time for more support and loyalty. I think it may have something to do with the family’s Christian morals and American values going against the change and attitude that is taking place in this country. Now, that’s not to say the show doesn’t need some spicing up. But, it by no means deserves to be canceled.
Phil and the Robertson family are one of the last pure, good-hearted, American families left on TV today and without them who knows what’s going to happen next.
Most likely it be more and more useless shows that teach our children the wrong ethics and values and hold us back from keeping the country great. Americans need to stand by what made this country great in the first place. And without families like the Robertson and shows like Duck Dynasty, TV will turn out being more like it is on that movie Idiocracy by Mike Judge.
If you haven’t seen it, the only show on TV, in a not so far off future of idiots is called, “Ow, My Balls.” It’s a show where one man being kicked, hit, or smashed in the groin by various objects and animals in different scenes over and over again.
It’s nothing short of sad if this is where modern television goes. Now, here’s where you come in because the family needs your help.
Please take a few minutes to write an email or reach out to the folks at A&E to encourage them to keep the show running alive and strong. I’ll go ahead and give you a preemptive, thank you from the family and say good job. With some good luck and effort on all of our parts, the family will be here rocking for years to come.
