Have you ever watch a reptile eat another animal and then regurgitate it? Well, you’re about to.
This snake eats and then regurgitates another animal — you have to see it to believe it! (photo via YouTube) A husband and wife from Texas witnessed this exact scene. They saw a snake begin devouring a smaller reptile only to vomit the animal back out of its mouth. And they got it all on camera!
The man, Christopher Reynolds, first saw the snake on the side of the road as he drove by. The animal was finishing up its meal — another reptile.
“Leaving my mom’s house, just drove by this beautiful snake,” Christopher narrates in the video.
But then the snake unhinged its jaw, releasing the reptile from its mouth. Christopher explains what is happening.
“It’s regurgitating it though so it can escape,” he continued. “It felt threatened.”
As the snake spit out the other animal, we see it’s actually a smaller snake. He then saw the snake’s body start to uncoil as the smaller snake came out of the bigger snake’s mouth. The smaller snake was perfectly alive and well and would live to slither another day.
“The other snake is alive!” Christopher yelled.
The big snake quickly slithered away, probably from fear, leaving the littler snake to comprehend what just happened.
I was just inside another snake’s stomach and now I’m not, the smaller snake may have thought. And I’m alive!

“There’s another snake under every rock where we live,” said Jase, Willie’s brother. “If you don’t like it, then you need to move. Because they’re here.”
