Since his controversial, and unverified, claims that British intelligence wiretapped Trump Tower for Obama, senior judicial analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano has been removed indefinitely from the Fox News airwaves.
Audiences first noticed Napolitano’s absence during the network’s confirmation hearings on Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch. Napolitano would usually be a major role player in such an event.
Napolitano’s False Statements On Air
The original controversy came from the Trump Tweet that said Obama ordered his “wires tapped in Trump Tower just before the victory.” Trump followed this by adding, “Nothing found” and “This is McCarthyism.”
Basically, the Tweet was discredited but Napolitano continued to flame the fire and caused additional embarrassment for Fox News. The Judge came up with several scenarios that could build upon the Trump Tweet.
Napolitano wrote:
“By bypassing all American intelligence services, Obama would have had access to what he wanted with no Obama administration fingerprints.”

According to the LA Times:
“The former New Jersey Superior Court judge, citing unnamed sources, said that the British foreign surveillance agency, the Government Communications Headquarters, “most likely” provided Obama with transcripts of Trump’s recorded calls.
“White House press secretary Sean Spicer cited Napolitano’s charge last week when asked why President Trump continues to stand by his initial claim. The British spy agency sharply denounced Napolitano’s allegations, saying they are “utterly ridiculous and should be ignored.”
