Sunbathers Surprised To See African Migrants Arriving
African Migrants | Photo Credit Daily Caller A boat full of African migrants shocked some Spanish beachgoers when their boat landed on the local sunbathing spot. Footage reveals a black inflatable dinghy on the beach of Cadiz, in southern Spain.
The group somehow managed to get away before authorities got to their dinghy. The incident was recorded as it took place Wednesday afternoon. As the boat pulls into the shallow water, the passengers jumped off and ran away.
One onlooker simply asked, “What’s going on…?”

“Carlos Sanz, who shot the video while on vacation in Cadiz, said the group quickly vanished and police only arrived some time later. Spanish officials couldn’t immediately be reached after office hours. “
“According to the IOM’s latest figures, until August 6, close to 8,200 migrants had arrived in Spain so far this year. That is more than triple the number who reached Spain at the same time last year, according to Joel Millman, a senior IOM spokesman, and already more than the total arrivals in 2016.”
Migrants Forced Off Boats By Smugglers

“A total of 300 migrants have reportedly been forced from boats over the past two days by smugglers off the coast of Yemen – many feared dead or missing, the United Nations migration agency has reported.”
“The survivors told our colleagues on the beach that the smuggler pushed them into the sea when he saw some ‘authority types’ near the coast,” said Laurent de Boeck. “They also told us that the smuggler has already returned to Somalia to continue his business and pick up more migrants to bring to Yemen on the same route.”
This is shocking and inhumane. The suffering of migrants on this migration route is enormous. Too many young people pay smugglers with the false hope of a better future,” Mr. de Boeck added.
