An Unspeakable Tragedy

The former host of Fox News’ The Five, Eric Bolling, is suffering the worst of tragedies. Just one day after parting ways with the network, he and his wife lost their only child, Eric Chase Bolling. Just 19-years old, Chase was attending the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he was found dead on Saturday.

The Bolling family has been reeling from allegations that Eric Sr. sent lewd text messages to female co-workers ten years ago. Breaking the story was none other than Huffington Post. The liberal-leaning website with no love for conservatives. His suspension came shortly after the accusations came out.

Subsequently, one day before Chase’s death, the network made the announcement they were severing ties with Boiling. “Fox News Channel is canceling The Specialists, and Eric Bolling and Fox have agreed to part ways amicably,” Fox News said in a statement Friday. “We thank Eric for ten years of service to our loyal viewers and wish him the best of luck.”

Early reports on Chase’s death indicate a possible drug overdose. TMZ sources are suggesting that his dad’s troubles with the network were causing the teenager “emotional problems.” Incidentally, Bolling sent out a tweet asking for privacy and confirming his son’s death was not a suicide.

Sadly, the left is not granting his request.

Leftists Celebrate

Losing a child is every parent’s nightmare. The pain is mind-numbing and relentless. However, that isn’t stopping leftists from celebrating Chase Bolling’s death. Several social media users are posting messages, directly tagging the grieving father in their hateful vitriol.

“Eric Bolling is an arrogant big mouth who got exactly what he deserved,” tweeted Ken Andrew II. As if that’s not bad enough, a commenter with the name “Sewer Rat Barbie” posted “I knew @Eric Bolling was a POS, but it is incredibly rare to see karma deliver such harsh justice. The teen son deserved better.”

Combating the hate, The Five did a loving tribute to close-out Monday’s show:
