There’s no doubt that North Korea will feel the geopolitical impact of President Trump’s attack on Syria. In response to the brutal chemical weapons attack, the U.S. sent 60 missiles towards two Syrian air force bases that hold chemical weapons.

Trump stated, “Years of previous attempts at changing Assad’s behavior have all failed and failed very dramatically.” With this in mind, it’s clear that Trump has a different approach in mind than Obama.

According to Secretary of State Rex Tiller, the strike demonstrates “President Trump is willing to act when governments and actors cross the line. It is clear that President Trump made that statement to the world tonight.”

The Sun reports Kim Jong-un on the “brink of war:”

“Trump’s warning comes as a massive joint naval exercise involving Japan, South Korea and the US was being held this week aimed at countering the threat from North Korean submarines – ramping up the tense situation in the region. This training was branded “reckless” by North Korea’s foreign ministry who said it was driving the Korean peninsula to the “brink of war.”

“Our army has already said that if there will be even the smallest provocation from the United States during exercises, we are ready to deliver the most ruthless blow,” said Mr. Hyong-Jun.”
