Love Trumps Hate?

Photo Credit: washingtonpost.com The left has consistently maintained that President Trump is about hate and they are all about the love. But we all know that actions speak much louder than words.

And their actions during and after the inauguration have spoken volumes. And this story is more evidence of their “empty words.”

Amy Looney and Ryan Manion were on their way to attend the Veterans Inaugural Ball when they were violently assaulted. The inauguration day ball was sponsored by the American Legion as a tribute to Medal of Honor recipients.

Looney lost her husband, Lt. Brendan Looney, in 2010. He was a Navy SEAL. Manion lost her brother, Marine 1st Lt. Travis Manion, in 2007 He was killed in Iraq while attempting to save his teammates.

Together, the women operate the Travis Manion Foundation, and organization dedicated to improving the strength and character of our country. But they didn’t attend the ball for political reasons…

They attended because they support America. The country their loved ones gave their lives defending.

The pair noted that they support President Trump just like they “supported the previous administration and just like we will support every future administration that the American people elect.”

In their interview with Fox & Friends, they said they had gotten separated from others attending the balls. Then they found themselves among the mobs of protesters. But it was Manion’s article in the Philadelphia Inquirer that highlighted the horrors they endured:

“Our clothes were drawn on with permanent marker by other protesters. And we were called the most vile names I have ever heard as we entered and exited the venue.”

Protesters also screamed at and spat on, the two ladies.

This isn’t the first time a Gold Star family was harassed. We published a story a while back on the family of a fallen soldier who were booed on their flight home.

Obama spent eight years persuading his followers that the military is the enemy. A fact evidenced by the despicable treatment of a grieving widow and sister.

For the protesters, hating President Trump, America, and the military is more important than love. Shame on them.
