In an unexpected and mind-blowing move, ABC is canceling the popular Roseanne revival. The drama started with a single tweet from Roseanne Barr aimed at Obama’s right-hand woman Valerie Jarrett.
Early Tuesday morning, actress and comedienne Roseanne Barr exercised her right to free speech on Twitter. By Tuesday afternoon, after being excoriated by hypocritical leftists, she found herself out of a job.
The firestorm, lit by CNN reporter Andrew Kaczynski, started when Roseanne commented on a story about Valerie Jarrett. The article alleged that Jarrett played a part in a CIA operation to spy on the president of France.
“Muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby=vj,” she tweeted. When Kaczynski responded to the tweet, Roseanne replied: “It’s a joke.” A few moments later she tweeted again saying “ISLAM is not a RACE, lefties. Islam includes EVERY RACE of people.”
Shortly after her last post, leftist came crawling out of the woodwork. White guy (pretending to be black) activist Shaun King was one of the first to express his outrage over the Roseanne tweet. Given his blatant race appropriation, is beyond dumbfounding, to say the least.
“How in the world does @ABC & @Disney justify this?” King wrote. “Roseanne literally just said that Valerie Jarrett, who was Senior Advisor to President Obama, is like the Muslim Brotherhood & Planet of the Apes having a baby. This is the gross normalization of bigotry in America.
Rich, isn’t it? We’ll get back to that but first, let’s look at the reaction from ABC.
