4. JSS

In Season 6, Episode 2, we got to see some of the scariest stories combined when the Wolves ambushed Alexandria, causing Carol to pull out the big guns. In this episode, she dressed like a Wolf and started killing again.

This was also the first time Carol and Morgan clashed over their different ideologies.

In Season 3, Episode 4, we got to see Andrew, the convict Rick left for dead, return and wreck havoc on the prison. Also, Lori went into labor and brought baby Judith into the world, which changed Carl and Maggie for the rest of the series.

2. Here’s Not Here

In Season 6, Episode 4, we got to see Morgan alone again like he was in “Clear,” which was certainly a top 10 episode. “Here’s Not Here” showed Morgan’s relationship with Eastman, who unfortunately didn’t make it past the episode.

1. The Grove

Finally, in Season 4, Episode 14, there’s “The Grove.” This is the type of episode that can make or break a show, as killing children usually doesn’t work on television. Carol had a big decision to make, and it irrevocably changed her.

The show came out of nowhere. It was scattered within the “Road to Terminus” series, but it suddenly became a high-stakes drama. The episode cemented Carol as a major player when she had to kill the unsettled Lizzie, who could no longer tell right from wrong, alive or undead.
