It’s Country Music’s biggest night! The 2017 CMA Awards will take place November 8th at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. Country’s biggest stars will fill the auditorium and accept some of the industry’s most coveted prizes. But they aren’t there just to win awards.

Megastars on Stage

The Country Music Association is all about fun, fashion, and comedy. But there is also a serious side. There’s the artistry. And this year will see some of country music’s newest, hottest performers take the stage with some of the most seasoned stars of the business.

It isn’t unusual to see megastar performances at the CMA Awards. If there’s a big name in country music, there’s a good chance they’ve performed at the event. Years past include artists such as Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, and Carrie Underwood.

The solo performances are incredible. But what is sometimes more interesting is the collaborative ones. For example, who can forget the Justin Timberlake duet with Chris Stapleton? Or the time Elton John took the stage to sing with Dolly Parton!

Luckily for viewers and fans, this year has some amazing collaborative performances and an over stellar lineup!

2017 CMA Awards Performers

There are at least four pairings for the 2017 awards.

These include Kelsea Ballerini and Reba McEntire, along with Dierks Bentley and Rascal Flatts. Also to perform together are Maren Morris and Niall Horan, and Brad Paisley and Kane Brown.

Paisley and Brown will perform “Heaven South,” Paisley’s newest single release. However, the other three pairs have not announced their details. It is likely that Morris and Horan will include their new duet, “Seeing Blind.”

Several of the artists are nominated in pairs. Female Vocalist of the Year nominees includes Ballerini, McEntire, and Morris. Bentley is nominated for Male Vocalist of the Year. Rascal Flatts are in contention for Vocal Group of the Year.

Additionally, the CMA has also announced that Garth Brooks, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett, Carrie Underwood, Brothers Osborne, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Alan Jackson, Little Big Town, Old Dominion, Jon Pardi and Chris Stapleton will all take the stage.

Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood will host again this year. Be sure to tune in November 8th on ABC at 8 pm ET to watch!
