Mason, who had been deployed as a Military Policeman, got together with his friends back home, telling them he’d be able to come home a few weeks early.

But he didn’t tell any of his family members. He wanted to surprise them, especially his father.

Here’s what happened: Mason showed up at his dad’s office, creeping around. As he snuck passed the receptionist, he asked her to keep her voice low.

“Oh my God,” she whispered in surprise. He’s with the reps. Go ahead.”

So Mason knocked on the door — loudly.

He could hear his dad wondering who was disturbing this very important meeting. After a few seconds, there was still no answer.

So Mason knocked again, but louder this time.

His dad whipped open the door to see who it was. Once he saw his son’s face, his own face was a mix of surprise, happiness, shock, and confusion. It’s best if you just watch the video for yourself below!

“Mason!” the dad cried. “I can’t believe you.”

The two reps the dad had been meeting with came out of the office with huge smiles.

“This meeting is over,” one of them said with a laugh. “There are more important things going on in this room.”

After shaking Mason’s hand, the men left, one of them saying, “That was awesome.”
