Uncle Si Talks Sweet Tea
Duck Dynasty | Photo Credit A&E Uncle Si, from Duck Commander and Duck Dynasty fame, recently sat down to answer some questions about ice tea, marriage and God. He began by discussing his infamous Tupperware cups that come from his mother’s small business.
“I’m always just carrying a Tupperware cup, ever since my mom went to a Tupperware party and got ’em. I’ve left them strewn all over the U.S. and Europe. I drink iced tea out of them,” said Si.
Si may even start his own iced tea line in the near future.

After the tea conversation, Si opened up with Fox 411 about some more intimate issues. “The doctors don’t have the final word. I believe in a higher power,” and I’ve got what you call two miracle babies, my daughter and my son and they gave me four grandsons a piece,” said Si, when they told him he couldn’t have kids.
He even revealed the truth about his son’s mental health issues. Si said that his son had some problems but the doctors had found the right medicine and he was doing much better. “Sometimes it’s necessary to medicate,” he concluded.
Si understands that these stresses are just a part of life. Whatever happens, his faith has always been there to help him get through it.
Faith Will Always Get You Through

Faith “is what got me through 65 years of life. My belief in God and what He’s done for us and what He will do for us. That’s a lot of the problems now. Look a lot of people don’t believe there’s evil. If there’s good in this world, then you’re being intellectually dishonest, if you believe there’s a good power you’ve also got to believe there’s an evil power too.”
“There are physical laws that are in place. We’ve got the physical world we see but there’s a microscopic world that you have to have special stuff to see, just because you don’t see it with your naked eye doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.”
