No One Is Safe, Says Kirkman

On The Walking Dead, there’s no one who is truly safe. Creator Robert Kirkman has even talked about one day killing Daryl Dixon, a fan favorite, and Rick Grimes, who the entire show essentially revolves around.

When Season 8 premieres in October, there are a few characters that die in the comics, but there are others who have already outlived their storylines. In the war that’s coming, it’s likely we’ll see a lot of fan favorites bite the dust.

There are three characters that might die as early as the Season 8 premiere.

King Ezekiel’s Must Trusted Allies

Despite being a fan favorite, it’s possible that Jerry will die at some point during Season 8 of The Walking Dead. There are rumors of a scene where most of Ezekiel’s soldiers get taken out, which includes Jerry. Basically, only Morgan and the King himself are expected to survive this Savior battle.

That also means that Shiva will not make it out alive. Shiva was there to save Carl Grimes and basically start the first official battle with the Saviors, but that doesn’t mean she’ll be safe when the show returns.

If another battle begins, based on the lives she took in Alexandria, Negan’s men will be gunning for Shiva.

Eric May Die, Which Will Destroy Aaron

Finally, there’s Eric. In the Safe Zone, Eric is the new moral conscience of the show and that’s never pretty. Like Dale or Tyreese before him, searching for peace and hearing others out is often a death rattle.

Eric is also a minor character who is attached to a major character. Eric’s death, like Benjamin’s death, will drastically move the story forward. It’ll change Aaron into something more fierce and push the group forward.

All of these deaths will make the group stand together to really think hard of the best way to take out Negan and the Saviors.

Do you think any other major characters will die in the premiere?
