Missing Groups On The Walking Dead

The Walking Dead | Photo Credit AMC Due to the split-up and wandering nature of The Walking Dead, some groups are seen alive, but never seen again. The most notable group may be Juan Pareja’s Morales group, who headed towards Birmingham when Rick went to the CDC.

The first season ended when Rick’s group made it to the Center for Disease Control in Atlanta, Georgia. There, the doctor developed a self-destruct device, which he nearly used to kill Rick’s crew right then and there.

This is actually where Rick learned that the people are the real villains.

There’s another scene from the second season of The Walking Dead that has recently been circulating around online. Hardcore fans believe they know where another unknown group has ended up.

In Season 1, the episode called “Vatos” showed Rick’s group when they came across a nursing home. Many call this gang “Vatos” based on the episode’s title, despite that they were never named on the show.

In the deleted scene, it looks like the fate of Vatos is actually rather grim.

Deleted Scene From The Walking Dead, Season 2

Rick, Daryl, Dale, Shane, Lori, Carol, Carl, and Glenn come back to find that someone has killed the Vatos group and left them for dead. It doesn’t look like it was walkers though, so perhaps another group took out the men protecting the nursing home.

At this point, humans were not really a threat, so perhaps this was meant to be a teaser of the Governor who Rick would meet in Season 3 of the series. The show has been known for complex storytelling, so it could have even been another group.

Since they chose not to use this scene, we may never know who killed Vatos, so it could have even been Negan himself.

Who do you think killed these men back in Season 2 of The Walking Dead?
