Norman Reedus | Photo Credit Jimmy Kimmel Live Norman Reedus who plays Daryl Dixon on The Walking Dead is quite the prankster, despite being mainly known for more serious roles. Now, he’s even performing in a few skits for late night.

On Jimmy Kimmel Live, Norman Reedus put on his best Daryl Dixon attire and prepared to fight a type of walker he had never faced before. Presumably, these walkers come from the malls of Los Angeles, California.

Jimmy Kimmel said they were updating The Walking Dead.

Norman Reedus Versus Hoverboard Walkers

In the new sketch, Daryl Dixon seems to be in an abandoned parking garage, with his trademark crossbow over his arm. Flashlight in hand, he stumbles upon a walker trapped in a vehicle and he appears to be scavenging for supplies.

In the back of a van, Daryl finds the remains of some “two-wheel, self-balancing, electric scooters…” About that time, something rolls by in the background, which brings him back to the present.

Walkers, on hoverboards.

Nothing Scarier Than Walkers On Wheels

The Nerdist reports:

The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus made a guest appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night for a comedy sketch that pit his fan-favorite character, Daryl Dixon against a group of hoverboard zombies. (Although, technically, “self-balancing electric scooter” is a probably a more accurate description for the devices used.)”

“Daryl’s reaction to these “modernized zombies” was particularly hilarious before he started taking them out to the tune of Chamillionaire’s “Ridin’ Dirty.” And when the zombie horde became too much for Daryl, he used the famous Dalek defense: stairs! Of course, Daryl also had a more explosive solution that made zombie Guillermo Rodriguez rethink his plan of attack. But what could be scarier than walkers on wheels?”
