First, they take out the lookouts, as they did in the first episode. A moment later, we see the tin-covered amour vehicles pull up, guns blazing. This is also an homage to the 2006 reboot, Dawn of the Dead.

Aaron and Eric real plan, however, gets better and better.

It’s a little surprising to see both Aaron and Eric with their guns forward. When we first met Aaron, it was clear he was brave, but not clear exactly how brave he could be. After all, he began as a scout for Deanna and the others at Alexandria.

Now, however, he’s leading an attack on the Saviors. Aaron is one of the first we see get out and start opening fire. Their plan is to trap in the Saviors and then pick them off one-by-one.

“They’re too chickensh*t to move in on us,” said the foolish Lieutenant.

“Stay on them. Don’t let ‘em through. We pin them in, and it takes care of itself. That’s the plan,” said Aaron with a scream. At this point, however, it’s unclear what he means by this plan.

Later, we understand what he meant by taking care of itself. After the Saviors’ Lieutenant injures one of Aaron’s men, she realizes what is about to happen. She looks at one of her dead soldiers, who is slowly coming back to life.

“They didn’t have to move in on us,” she said, realizing her life was about to come to an end. A moment later, one of her people stands and makes his way over to her. Then, he bites into her neck.

Aaron and Eric had a brilliant plan, but it wasn’t quite effective enough. During the battle, Francine is shot and so is Eric. Unfortunately, at this point, we are in somewhat of a Glenn Dumpster Death scenario as both are injured, but it’s uncertain whether or not the bullet will take their life.

When Aaron finds out his boyfriend has been shot, he gets him off of the battlefield.

Do you think Aaron or Francine will survive this attack?
