Actress Mayim Bialik is as smart as her counterpart, Amy. In real life, the star of Blossom actually has a Ph.D. in neuroscience, like her character on the hit CBS series. This is good, in case her wildly successful career ever takes a turn, she’ll have something to fall back on.
In addition to Bialik and the others above, some other real-life genius that have been featured on the show include supersmart Danica McKellar (Winnie from The Wonder Years) who has a mathematics degree from UCLA, along with astronaut Buzz Aldrin, astrophysicists George Smoot and Neil deGrasse Tyson, among others.
