1Sasha’s Impending Death On The Walking Dead

It was highly expected that Sasha would die at some point in Season 7 of The Walking Dead, but no one really knew what was going to go down. The episode itself was also confusing until she finally decided to take her own life.

The actress said that she did know about the ending before she read the script, which somewhat contradicts how Norman Reedus reads the scripts. Perhaps the Daryl Dixon actor isn’t aware that fans will riot if he dies.

In addition to her acceptance, she was also thrilled to work with Michael Cudlitz again, who stars as Abraham Ford.

“We were both ecstatic about getting the opportunity to work together again in this story,” said Martin-Green, about working with Cudlitz. “That scene is a very enlightening moment, and it had a sort of retroactive effect.”

For audiences, the scenes with Sasha were intertwined throughout the finale, but she likely filmed complete scenes, which were cut later. A bit of the episode had an I Am Legend resemblance to it, cutting back and fourth between present and past.

Sasha’s death will likely be one of the most iconic on the series.
