3Gurney Productions, the company that produces Duck Dynasty, is back on the job after being sued. Will this negatively affect the show?

ITV, Gurney’s parent company, sued them for fraud. They said the couple that runs Gurney — Scott and Deidre Gurney — self-dealt and misappropriated funds in an attempt to increase their own profits.

Dang. That’s some low-life stuff there.

The couple had been put on “short, temporary leave of absence,” and then fired from producing Duck Dynasty. Then, the Gurneys counter-sued ITV. Yikes.

Yikes.

But now, the married couple are back in charge.

A judge from L.A. put the Gurney’s on a probation of sorts — they’re now “day-to-day” managers of Gurney.

“The Gurneys are proud of the company they founded and are looking forward to rejoining their team to continue building upon the consistent growth they have achieved over the past 12 years,” said the couple’s attorney.

“We have always believed the truth was on our side and today the judge reaffirmed our position.”

Obviously, ITV had a different perspective than Gurney.

“We remain very confident of success in the merits of our case,” said an ITV spokesperson. “And fully expect to win once the allegations of deceit, fraud and self-dealing by the Gurneys are exposed at a full trial.”
