North Korean Tensions Grow
Kim Jong Un | Photo Credit Huffington Post Tensions with North Korea continue to grow as the Kim regime detains a third American citizen. Meanwhile, with American aircraft carriers stationed in the Korean Peninsula, one wrong move by either side could mean war.
Based on the overwhelming amount of evidence that North Korea is hostile, it’s possible that they are actually just rattling the cage, rather than trying to start any actual violence with America.
Meanwhile, it’s unclear which side China will choose, but either way, North Korea will always be China’s problem.
North Korea Continues To Stir Trouble
North Korean expert Michael Malice told Tucker Carlson:
“The thing with North Korea is that you have to look at it like a Cloak and Dagger situation. Notice that when Trump struck Syria, no one saw it coming. Yet here, there are all these warnings.”
“You have (Vice President) Mike Pence, you have the administration talking, you have all 100 senators being called to the white house, he’s making a big spectacle of escalating the violence, so that seems to me like this is for public show and he has something up his sleeve.”
China Prepares For Potential War

“The Chinese government have also warned that should war break out, it would be Pyongyang that would suffer most. Xi Jinping’s powerhouse is clearly worried about nuclear war breaking out in the region, pleading with Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un to behave with restraint.”
“An editorial piece in the Global Times, widely regarded as the mouthpiece of the Communist Party, said: “The game of chicken between Washington and Pyongyang has come to a breaking point.”
“It added that if North Korea conducted another nuclear missile test “it is more likely than ever that the situation will cross the point of no return.” The piece continued: “All stakeholders will bear the consequences, with Pyongyang sure to suffer the greatest losses.” A spokesperson for the Chinese foreign ministry added weight to his leader’s desire to see a de-escalation of tension in the region.”
