This week, President-elect Donald Trump urged Israel to “stay strong” a little while longer until he steps into office. To read between the lines, it would appear that U.S. policy under Trump will make a shift back towards the Jewish nation.
U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry delivered a final foreign policy speech about Israel and Palestine, claiming a two-state solution as the “only way” to possibly achieve peace within the region.
Officials in Israel called the planned speech “pathetic” and “ignorant,” according to CBS News.
