Photo Credit: morungexpress.com Golden Globe-winning actor and screenwriter, Sylvester Stallone, gave an insightful interview to Variety magazine during the election. In the interview, he spoke of his feelings about then-GOP nominee Donald Trump. Then he gave the best reason ever for supporting him:
“You can’t be totally one-sided forever. Then you just close your mind to possibilities forever.”
His revelation, relevant during that time, may be even more important for people to hear now. So many celebrities have come out against President Trump, it is refreshing to see that not everyone in Hollywood has lost their marbles.
Stallone goes on to refer to Trump as “being a fighter” and a Dickens-like character that is “larger than life.”
Ironically, his assessment of Trump’s character is proving to be true. The president continues to fight oppositional Democrats and a biased liberal media. Both of whom have waged an unprecedented and nasty war against him.

Oscar winners, Nicole Kidman and Matthew McConaughey, have both made public statements in support of President Trump. Kidman noted that:
“[Trump is] now elected and we, as a country, need to support whoever is the president,”.
McConaughey expressed similar sentiments in his interview with BBC:
“He is our President. It’s time for us to embrace and shake hands with this fact and be constructive with him over the next four years”.
Both actors received harsh criticism for their statements. Stallone’s comments were not as widely known as those of Kidman and McConaughey-but they should be. These actors clearly know the real meaning of “love and tolerance.”
