Not long ago, fans discussed who Negan might kill on the premier of The Walking Dead Season 7, and now we know what happened on the mid-season finale!
Did Negan kill again? Of course… in cold blood!
The show is about to take a few months off, so the conversations are booming online. With that in mind, there are three things that really need to happen on The Walking Dead.
Daryl Needs to Fight Back Hard

Since Season 7’s premier, Daryl has been a prisoner to the Saviors. Among other things, this is just boring to see Daryl like this. He’s a fan favorite, and while his death as a martyr could be important to the series, nobody wants to see that. Daryl doesn’t seem like he’s going to bow down, so will he be the first to sound the fight? Or will he be the one who dies next?
Someone Else Will Die?

It’s up in the air who it might be, but someone else will die when Season 8 of The Walking Dead premiers. Some bets are on Carl for various reasons, but those who are gunning for Negan are also up for grabs. This list includes Rosita, Sasha, Daryl, maybe Dwight, and Michonne, among others.
If nothing else, we may discover Heath has already died on the show. He hasn’t made an appearance at Alexandria and he also hasn’t been discussed during the Sanctuary visit either. Tara has already walked back, so it’s unlikely he’s still wandering around, unless he’s doing so out of guilt for leaving her.
Lining up with the comic book, Spencer just died. He dies in the comic when he tells Negan Rick is a poor leader. And speaking of Rick…
Rick Needs to Be Rick Again!

In addition to Daryl’s lackluster season, Rick also needs to step up.. hard. Rick now has NO reason not to fight off Negan with all his might. Since they are almost without any bullets, they will need to unite with Hilltop and maybe even Oceanside to battle Negan.
Everyone is tired of hearing Rick say, “This is how it is now.” Fans got a glimpse of the Rick they’ve been thirsting for in the Midseason Finale. Do you think Rick will soon reveal a detailed plan to fight off Negan, or will it all be spontaneous? Our hope is our hero is BACK, and he’ll finally man up again. Even if he ends up with a few scars.
