With everyone around them finding love, Raj and Stuart are looking pretty desperate. In the most recent episode of The Big Bang Theory, the duo starts to fight about who is more desperate and who should get the girl.
Despite the fact that Bernie tells Howard she doesn’t want to set up her new friend, he insists. When Bernie meets her new friend, it’s not long before two desperate men show up to annoy the girls.
From then on, it’s a competition between the two.

Later, at the comic book shop, Leonard and Howard tell the boys to be friends and just let the situation play out. Both men agree, but Raj secretly has a different plan in mind. Raj sets up a date and tells his new interest that Stuart is busy.
Like before, Stuart arrives uninvited. This time, Bernie isn’t there to protect her friend. They quickly scare away their prey, and at one point, it looks like the two might even fist fight over the girl.
Stuart reveals that no one is more desperate than he, so the two continue to argue over the girl. While they’re busy fighting, she decides to leave and then they’re left alone to continue their bickering.
If Raj was able to play it cool, he might have a chance with this new girl, but both are being too desperate at this point.

If Raj and Stuart aren’t careful, they’ll continue to bash one another so much that they lose more confidence and more girls. They’re so busy bashing each other that they can’t focus on complimenting the girl they pursue.
Sheldon, Leonard, and Howard all found love by being honest with their women and compromising to make the relationships work. This even meant that Sheldon flew across the country to propose to his now fiancé, Amy.
Raj and Stuart are both successful in their careers and can be charming when they focus, but the bitterness isn’t helping anyone. If they continue to fight, argue, and bicker in front of single women, they’ll continue to live a lonesome life.
