Trump Calls For Meeting To Attack Syria
Donald Trump | Photo Credit Indian Express Yesterday, there was talk about a possible retaliation for the chemical attacks on Syria. Last night, White House officials met to discuss how and when that attack would occur.
The United States just launched tomahawk missiles at two different air bases inside Syria. Both locations were used to store chemical weapons. One of the bases was Shayrat, but the other has not yet been identified.
The missiles were launched by U.S. destroyers, USS Ross and USS Porter. Around 60 missiles in all, but it’s possible one missile failed and landed in the ocean.

“Fox News can now confirm the United States military has launched dozens of tomahawk missiles on sites in Syria. We got word this afternoon that the President of the United States was considering military action, that senior White House officials had met late last night and into this morning, that the joint chiefs of staff had come together today.
“Tonight, the President is in Mar-a-Lago in Florida, with the Chinese leader, Xi Jinping. While he was there and they were seated at the dinner table, the United States launched strikes on Syria.”

CNN reports:
“When you kill innocent children — innocent babies — babies — little babies with a chemical gas that is so lethal, people were shocked to hear what gas it was, that crosses many, many lines,” the US leader said. Until the airstrike, Trump gave no indication of what he was planning to do. Then everything changed early Friday in Syria (Thursday night in the United States).
“Tonight, I ordered a targeted military strike on the air base in Syria from where the chemical attack was launched,” he said from his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. “It is in this vital national security interest of the United States to prevent and deter the spread and use of deadly chemical weapons.” He accused Syria of using banned chemical weapons and said such attacks are “unacceptable.”
