HUGE: Democrats Put TRUMP’S Intelligence To Test With THIS New (Ridiculous) Legislation

Michael Wolff’s latest book on the Trump administration set-off a frenzy of questions regarding the president’s mental health.  So much so, that members of Congress are calling in a Yale psychiatrist, Dr. Bandy Lee, to discuss the issue.

To nobody’s surprise, Wolff’s unfounded claims prompted a scathing response from President Trump.  After all, who wouldn’t be offended by such a purposely brutal attack? While the president has made several comments addressing the lies, one in particular, drew the fury of his critics.

“Actually, throughout my life, my two greatest assets have been mental stability and being, like, really smart…” Trump tweeted. “I went from VERY successful businessman, to top T.V. Star to President of the United States (on my first try). I think that would qualify as not smart, but genius….and a very stable genius at that.”

Three days after the president made that remark, Pennsylvania Representative Brendan Boyle had an announcement of his own. Rep. Boyle is introducing the Stable Genius Act in the House next week.

According to Boyle, the legislation would require all presidential candidates to undergo a mental health examination. The exam would fall under the purview of the Secretary of the Navy and the report must be filed with the Federal Election Commission. Requiring such a test, in the lawmaker’s opinion, will safeguard voters.

“Before voting for the highest office in the land, Americans have a right to know whether an individual has the physical and mental fitness to serve as President,” Boyle said. “President Trump’s reckless, erratic behavior has exposed a critical flaw in our existing election process.”

As ridiculous as it is, the act is not likely to pass the House since the GOP still holds a majority. But that really isn’t the issue. The issue is Democrats acting like armchair medical professionals.
