CIA Creates Facility To Monitor Kim Jong Un
Kim Jong Un | Photo Credit Time On Wednesday, the Central Intelligence Agency said that they had opened a mission center at an undisclosed area to monitor North Korea. Also, a CIA veteran whose name is being kept under wraps is leading the facility.
“Creating the Korea Mission Center allows us to more purposefully integrate and direct CIA efforts against the serious threats to the United States and its allies emanating from North Korea,” said CIA Director Mike Pompeo.
“It also reflects the dynamism and agility that CIA brings to evolving national security challenges,” he added.

The tensions between the United States and North Korea continue to grow so this lookout point is ideal in case Kim Jong Un ever does try to make any real moves against America.

“The opening of the mission center comes as tensions between the U.S. and North Korea increased over the last few months. The U.S. sent a strike group, led by the USS Carl Vinson, to the Pacific near the Korean Peninsula last month – a move that was met with fiery rhetoric from Kim Jong Un’s regime.”

“The CIA has established a Korea Mission Center to address “the nuclear and ballistic missile threat posed by” North Korea and its unpredictable leader, the US intelligence agency announced Wednesday. The creation of the center focusing on specific threats from the Korean peninsula will allow the CIA to “harness the full resources, capabilities, and authorities of the Agency” to deal with North Korea, according to the agency’s statement.”
“The center, which is located in CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia, will put the forces of CIA analysts and officers side-by-side in one location to tackle the threat from Pyongyang.”
