Lady Antebellum has had hit songs like “Need You Now” and “Downtown.” Everyone in country music knows who they are. They’ve won at least 52 awards from at least eight different organizations, including the GRAMMYs.
But none of their awards may be as touching or important as this one.
Lady Antebellum – “Need You Now”
During an invitation-only event on August 9 for a nonprofit called Musicians On Call, this trio earned themselves a nice new acknowledgment. MOC, an organization that “brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities,” honored Lady A with the Music Heals Award. This was during the Half A Million Moments campaign, which celebrated the fact that MOC has helped half a million hospital patients.
