Actress Michelle Ang is having an amazing year so far and it’s not over yet. For one, she’s been nominated for an Emmy. For two, she’s expecting a baby! If that surprise isn’t enough to make you smile, I don’t know what it is. The New Zealand Actress Ang, has wowed the FTWD fans with her acting in Flight 462. In case you haven’t heard of it, Flight 462 is a web series where Ang plays Alex. During one of the episodes she puts down and infected passenger with a knitting needle. How freaking cool is that?
Ang first went from Flight 462 to Fear the Walking Dead during season 2. You may remember when Abigail set sail from Los Angeles as it burned. So much for the city of angels. Her character was in Los Angeles during this time and still may be. Some speculate she may have even met up with Tobias.
Whatever the case, her role as Alex has caught the attention of the Emmys. She’s now been nominated for best actress in another short Drams series.
When Michelle finally makes it down the red carpet at the awards, she’ll be showing and glowing. This will be her first child with her boyfriend who is a musician. Michelle has said, she’s been experiencing very strange cravings since her pregnancy. Chicken nuggets, kimchi and other fermented, stinky things are now appealing to her. Something that hasn’t happened in years.
She’s definitely a beautiful mother to be and radiating with loving, feminine energy. Her recent pictures, show her glowing and she is a natural behind the cameras. It’s great to see Michelle Ang doing so good. I don’t know about you, but I love seeing rising stars doing so well in life. It’s a nice contrast to so many celebrities who are constantly struggling.
My hope is that we get to see a lot more of Michelle in the future episodes of Fear the Walking Dead. It could make for some very emotionally charged, intense scenes with a pregnant mother ready to pop. Imagine Alex, ready to give birth, as she violently fights off an onslaught of walkers, ready to eat her and her unborn child. How intense would that be?
Whatever happens, we wish her the best and send forth congratulations to her and her family. Along with Michelle, Alexandra Breckenridge will be a mother soon as well. And Sonequa Martin Green and Alanna Masterson gave birth in the recent past as well.
