The Rock | Photo Credit Vanity Fair Based on a recent GQ article, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has confirmed that a White House run is a “real possibility.” Ever since the wrestler-turned-actor made this statement, the Internet has been going crazy.
In fact, one report from Public Policy Polling said that The Rock would lead the current President if there were to be a 2020 run in his future. Specifically, the data read that Johnson would be winning 42/37 if running against Trump.
Only 13 percent of voters view the Rock negatively, while 36 percent like him.

The Wrap reports:
“There is a big question mark mixed in with the numbers, however, as 50 percent of voters have no opinion of the “Baywatch” star (though, frankly, we don’t know how that’s possible).”
“Among Democrats, Johnson is viewed favorably by 38 percent, while 31 percent of Republicans view him favorably. The unfavorable ratings are 15 and 17 percent, respectively.”
“Public Policy Polling added that Johnson would win over 15 percent of the voters who cast their ballots for Trump in last year’s race.”

“Provided the current precedent set by the Republican party, another Hollywood icon could very well drum up enough support on the campaign trail to actually make a legitimate run as the 46th President of the United States as either a Democratic or third-party candidate.”
“And with the latest betting odds on hand, chances are the American public might be willing to give the Fast & Furious leading man a shot at being the face of the nation. Politics aside, it’s obviously still a bit of a stretch to imagine another outsider force his way into the highest seat of public authority after the events of the 2016 elections, but then again no major news or media outlet predicted the outcome of this past November’s historic election, either.”
