If you remember from that one episode of Jep And Jessica: Growing The Dynasty, Jep bought a food truck… to the shock of his wife.

“Surprise!” Jep said to Jessica as he stood inside of his new food truck. “I got a food truck! I got a food truck!”

“I mean,” Jessica replied, “You didn’t think you should, like, call and ask first?”

As it turns out, maybe Jep should’ve asked first, because the truck isn’t doing too well.

In a recent episode, Jep opens his pot-pie food truck, Jep’s Southern Roots. And it didn’t do as good as they expected. Jep opened shop but forgot to say anything on social media, so nobody came. No one knew about it.

After their first day, Jep and Jessica made a whopping $45.

“This is a little bit harder than I thought it would be,” Jep said.

Shortly after that, Jep’s daughter Priscilla, taught him a life lesson. It started out with Jep trying to teach her as she was selling chocolate bars to raise funds for her soccer team.

“You’re not going to get everything handed to you on a silver platter,” Jep told her.

He didn’t even give her a ride to Duck Commander in order to sell her chocolates to the Robertson men.

“Just get an Uber. It’ll be fine,” Jep said.

That’s when Priscilla turn the tables on her father.

“Maybe if you asked for help, you would’ve sold more pies yesterday, but who knows,” she said.

And, folks, that’s what we call a “burn.”

As much as that hurt, Jep took her advice. He asked Jessica’s friend (who’s an event coordinator) to promote the food truck. Jep ended up signing a catering contract for a party.

“I’m going to go Gordon Ramsay on y’all if it ain’t perfect,” he told Jessica.

Let’s hope it’s all good from here on out.
