Chicago is well-known for their sanctuary policies. The city has now turned into a war-zone. The rule-of-law in the “Windy City” has long since blown away, giving rise to governing by cultural ideologies rather than from judicial sense.
We see evidence of this in the case of 20-year old Mubashra Uddin.

Uddin was arrested and charged with first-degree murder in November 2015 after she dropped her infant daughter from an eighth story high-rise window. The baby was found lying in the grass below and died a day later. Uddin hid her pregnancy from her Muslim parents fearing their reaction and murdered her daughter for the same reason.
She gave birth in her family’s small apartment, then dropped the baby out of her bedroom window when she heard her Pakistani mother coming down the hall. The newborn girl suffered complex skull fractures, a fractured spine, a broken left shoulder, fractured left and right ribs and a lacerated aorta, as well as damage to other internal organs, according to court records.

But, despite the seriousness of her crime, Uddin is now free to get on with her life.
Last Thursday, she was sentenced to just four years of probation and given credit for the 603 days she spent in jail. A far lesser sentence than the one she gave her daughter, right? After her initial arrest, the judge in the case, James Brown, called her actions “exceedingly evil.”
Obviously, something changed.
Perhaps it was the glowing letters of support the court received from Uddin’s friends? “Sometimes she felt under pressure to be this perfect daughter … even pressure to be this perfect Muslim woman that prayed, fasted, was humble and also didn’t make mistakes,” a longtime friend, identified only as “Nina O.,” wrote to the judge.
Maybe it was just blind ignorance.
Are there American girls who get pregnant and fear their parent’s reactions? Yes. Do American women murder their children? Yes. Do they receive probation for their crime? Absolutely not.
The fact is, no matter how much liberals glamourize twelveth century Islamic beliefs, they will never be compatible with American life. It’s time they stop treating them like they are.
