Willie Robertson has been a Trumpeteer since January 2016, and he hasn’t backed down on his position.
Half of the country has been in an uproar over Trump’s election. There have been rallies, protests, and outspoken celebrities against Trump. One rally was so invasive, Willie got stuck in it.
“I got kind of caught up in trying to go eat dinner,” he told Fox News. “There was a lot of pink hats out there for sure. It wasn’t my kind of crowd.”
And there was one thing that he was shocked by. He noticed a common theme in the signs people were holding that disgusted him.
“I was blown away by, really, the vulgar signs and the language,” he said. “And there were children there — I saw children sitting by these signs, young kids, with all this filth on there.”
And the signs he saw really get to the heart of the matter. And the heart of the matter is really what bothers Willie…
One thing Willie can’t understand
“I understand the anger, but what I can’t understand — the republicans, I felt, got angry, and so what we did was throw a lot of our guys out and say we want someone who can be elected president,” he said. “So I don’t understand why [democrats] are not angry at their own party because, let’s face it, they had a lot of money, they had a candidate. So why their anger’s now just at the president… they don’t want to see him as president.”
Willie then gives advice to the Democrats — advice they could live by.
“Why don’t you get angry at your own party, fix some things, go meet together?” he said. “And I just didn’t understand… the [vulgarity]. I mean, it was embarrassing.”
