Now that the show is over, we can look back and say with complete confidence — the Robertsons are a good family.
Reality TV didn’t break up the Robertsons. Money didn’t corrode their relationships. Fame couldn’t touch their love.
“Money, shouldn’t change who you are,” Willie Robertson told CBN.
Even Willie’s daughter Sadie Robertson knows the importance of family.
“I’m so thankful for everything the show has done for me and my family,” she wrote on Instagram. “LOVE YOU ALL. Thanks for making a show with a prayer at the end of it the most watched reality TV show on cable.”
So a family and show reunion is what you’d expect to see — what you want to see.
A Liberty University spokesperson said the Robertsons will talk to attendees about their favorite moments from the finale, which aired March 29.
This even lines up perfectly with Liberty’s College for a Weekend, where thousands of high school students get to see the campus and get an idea of what college life is all about. Who better to welcome them than bearded men with good values?

Footage from Duck Dynasty (a record-breaking show for A&E) was actually filmed on Liberty University’s campus. Part of last year’s season finale was shot on site. It was the episode where John Luke and Mary Kate Robertson (both now sophomores at Liberty) went on a road trip with their family to get dropped off at the university.
