Updates For Baby Judith In Season 8

The Walking Dead | Photo Credit AMC Baby Judith has been around for a while now. She came into this world back in the prison, which changed Carl and Maggie’s life forever (as they gave her a C-section) and killed her mother Lori in the process.

Since then, there have been several moments where it looked like she could lead to the death of many characters. Being a baby, any accidental cry could have gotten her and those around her killed.

But Season 8 could bring something new for Baby Judith.

Will Judith Finally Speak This Season?

In reality, Baby Judith is no longer a baby anymore. She’s walking on her own and we think she’ll soon be talking on her own as well. She’s getting to the age where she’s bound to say her first words very soon.

While it’s possible she could say something like “walker,” “roamer” or even “Negan” for the first time, we think there’s another possibility. Despite not seeing her with Michonne all that often, it’s possible she could say “Mommy” to her new step-mom.

This could change things for the Grimes family.

With Lori gone, it’s clear that both Rick and Carl have found someone new. Rick’s clearly has romantic feelings for Michonne that are ongoing, and young Carl clearly respects Michonne in this new world.

Beyond the Grimes men finding a place for Michonne, as war starts to take place, we may see Judith and Michonne spending more time together. After all, Michonne may be in the bed for the first few episodes.

In the Season 7 finale, one of Jadis’ Heapsters beat down Michonne pretty hard until our hero ended up tossing her attacker off of a house in the Safe Zone. The final scenes ended with the Grimes men crowding around a beaten Michonne.

Do you think Judith’s first words will be with Michonne next season?
